McElroy Radio was lovingly crafted by a fellow McElroy fan who wanted to create the ultimate listening experience for the community. Built with Go, this project represents countless hours of development, fueled by good good content and an unhealthy amount of coffee.
For shows that no longer have official RSS feeds, I use ChopChopRSS , a custom-built RSS feed generator that creates podcast feeds from archived audio files. This allows me to bring discontinued shows back into rotation, ensuring that classic McElroy content remains accessible through modern podcast players and feeds. Want access to a functional feed for Joystiq or In Case of Emergency? Head over to The official McElroy Radio Feed to grab them. As other old shows are found they will be added here as well for perpetual archival.
I also develop and maintain Pinepods , a self-hosted podcast management platform that acts as a self-hosted Podcast archiver, listener, aggregator, and ultimate podcast platform.
This is a completely free, open-source project created for the love of the McElroy family's content and the amazing community around it. I do this for fun. Can't you just have fun for awhile?
